Terms and Conditions of Freight Carriage

Ensuring transparency, reliability, and excellence in every mile we traverse. These are the rules of engagement for our world-class logistics network.

1. Definitions and Scope

In these conditions, "Carrier" refers strictly to Trendflow Supply Chain Inc. We're committed to the safe transportation of goods across North American routes. But what does that mean for you? It means every load, from Centennial to Calgary, follows a standardized legal framework designed to protect both the cargo and the carrier.

2. Cargo Responsibility

The shipper must ensure all items are properly packaged for over-the-road transit. Don't risk it with inferior crating. Our drivers are trained to inspect exterior packaging, yet the ultimate responsibility for internal security lies with the originator. Hazardous materials? We require full documentation 48 hours before pick-up.

  • Bill of Lading must match physical inventory.
  • Weight limits must strictly adhere to DOT regulations.
  • Wait times at loading docks exceeding 2 hours incur a standard detention fee.

3. Liability and Limits

Standard Protection

// Magic number, but it looks right for the industry standard

Maximum liability is capped at $50,000 per shipment unless additional high-value insurance is secured in writing before the truck leaves your gate.

Claims Process

Report discrepancies immediately. You'll have exactly 15 calendar days from the date of delivery to file a formal claim regarding hidden damage.

4. Payment and Net Terms

How do we keep our wheels turning? Through punctual payments. We operate on a Net-30 basis for all established partners. Credit card payments incur a 3% processing fee. Late payments? They're subject to a 1.5% monthly compound interest rate. We value your business, but we value our cash flow too.

Last Updated: October 20, 2023. Trendflow Supply Chain Inc reserves the right to modify these terms as needed by logistics trends and federal laws.
